Today we decided to take our pictures for our Christmas card. In order to get them out on time and for them to include all of us it had to be done today. By 3pm. And it had to be perfect. Because I am a perfectionist and little things drive me nuts. :)
So it had started out being Maddie, Morgan and Austin together in a picture. Lesson one, no pictures are to be taken during the period of the day we call "naptime", this doesn't end well. Lesson two, Morgan doesn't like for the dog to be in the picture. She will soon refuse to share her spotlight with yet another object. So it starts out like this....
Eventually Daddy decided to try and bribe her with pickles...
Since Morgan was so tired we decided to just let her stay out of the picture. And we would attempt one with Daddy, myself and her later. It wasn't too hard with just the 2 older kids, except sometimes they both like to make silly smiles. So after only a few shots, we ended up using this one. The dog even looks good too!
We ended up with a pretty good one too. We got lucky that a friend stopped by so we had him take the picture for us. We just used a 2 picture template for our card this year!
All in all, the card turned out pretty cute this year I think. Next year should be another fun challenge!
